Our organization always has a critical need for local foster famlies who are willing to care for cats, dogs, puppies and/or kittens in their homes while the pets are waiting for their chance to be adopted. Fostering allows us to have the time we need to find the best adoption opportunity for the pet and, at the same time, allows the pet to live in a 'home' environment rather than at the shelter. Our organization can provide food for the pet you're fostering, as well as any other supplies that may be needed. We also will pay for any medical expenses that the pet may incur while in foster care. An Animal Friends volunteer will contact you and arrangements will be made for you to complete the necessary documents and a home visit may be arranged.
