A Pet Owner's Worst Nightmare . . .
. . . Your pet comes up missing and you know its
not wearing any ID tags.
It happens every day -- all across America -- cherished pets get away from their owners. Having ID tags on your pet's collar can greatly increase the chance that it will be safely returned to you!
Animal Friends now offers attractive, durable, inexpenive tags in your choice of shapes and colors, personalized with your pet's name, and your name and phone number. At $3.50 each, including shipping, there's no reason your pet should ever be without proper identification. We suggest you purchase two tags -- one for your pet to wear right away, and one to keep on hand in case you need to immediately replace a lost collar.

Here's another suggestion to help get a lost pet
returned safely to you . . .
Always keep on hand a set of current photos of your pet. These photos should be taken especially for ID purposes and should show a full 'face-on' view, as well as both side views. Also make a note of any particular distinguishing markings and/or scars your pet may have. The photos and information can be used right away for flyers you post in your neighborhood and take to shelters, humane societies and rescue groups in your area. ID tags and photos are the best tools you can have at your disposal, should your pet go missing!
If you think having photos is not important, consider this information, placed on a Lost Dog flyer . . .
