This is Sassy. She was posted on Petfinder on February15th and was adopted shortly thereafter. There were 3 other pups in her litter and for a time they all were adopted by a relative's family. Now, that family has decided they don't want to keep these puppies, and they surrendered the pups to us. The pups are going on 9 weeks old now.
The day after we took them into our care, the puppies were diagnosed with parvovirus. Those of you who are familiar with this disease know that this is a curable condition, but it requires dedicated veterinary care, and it is a costly process.
We are going to give these puppies a chance to live and we are asking you to help us pay for their veterinary care. For the three of them it could be as much as $600.
Our organization has been on the edge of financial disaster for several months now. Taking on the financial burden for the care of these pups is truly more than we can bear, but neither can we bear the thought of putting them down.
