In order to more efficiently respond to your e-mail regarding our shelter dogs, we have added 3 e-mail buttons to the 'Adoptables - Dogs' pages. By using these buttons, you can be sure you will reach the person who can best handle your e-mail.
When requesting specific information about a particular dog (temperament, size , etc .), use the 'GENERAL DOG INFORMATION' button. Your e-mail will go to Joy Reed ([email protected]) our volunteer who actually works with the dogs at the shelter.
When e-mailing to make vetting arrangements or obtain vetting information, use the 'VETTING ARRANGEMENTS' button. Your e-mail will go to Joy Reed ([email protected]) and she will correspond with you about your vetting requests.
The 'TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS' button should be used for:

~ general inquiries about a particular dog's availability

~ to 'hold' a particular dog for a specified period of time

~ to put a dog 'on board' a transport

~ to find out when the next transport to your area will be

~ to request/confirm specific transport information

~ general inquiries about transports or rescue procedures

~ adopting a dog for your family
Your e-mail will go to Carol Skrodinsky ([email protected]), our volunteer who handles transport arrangements.
In the future, you may notice that a particular e-mail address changes and your e-mail is being sent to a different person. This only means that a different volunteer is responding to e-mails on those topics.
We decided to implement this new procedure in order to better serve your needs and respond to your inquiries in a more timely fashion. We welcome your comments. E-mails regarding this new procedure can be sent by clicking on the e-mail button below to reach [email protected].
