What a sweet young fella!  He just craves affection and gets along fine with other dogs AND cats.  The redness you see is skin dermatitis caused by a flea allergy.  The poor boy was just covered with fleas when he came to us.  He's on medication now and the vet feels he will be just fine.

He's UTD with his shots, has been neutered and wormed.
